- We are experiencing delays in the clearance of our exported products due to what we believe to be undue or unclear requirements, our goods which comply with all relevant export documentation and regulatory standards has been held for an extended period of time.

- A virtual meeting was held on 25th June 2025 concerning three Non-Tariff Barrier (NTB) complaints submitted under the AfCFTA NTB Online Mechanism. The complaints (AfCFTA-000-094, AfCFTA-000-095, and AfCFTA-000-096) were lodged by Nigerian exporters following challenges encountered in the clearance of consignments exported to Kenya under the AfCFTA framework. The meeting acknowledged the complaints as valid concerns rooted in inadequate information. It was agreed that there is a need to enhance transparency and exporter awareness of all export related requirements to facilitate trading under the AfCFTA.
